Veterans Coffee at UNCTV

Our Club presented a 777 Commissioning print to Jeff Smith of the television station. Jeff is responsible for Military and Veterans Outreach. The quarterly Veterans Coffees intend to create awareness for the fall series, The Vietnam War, produced by Ken Burns. Joining the presentation was Captain Ted Triebel USN (ret), USNA class of 1964. Ted's F-4 Phantom shot down in Vietnam and he imprisoned for 200+ days. His father, C.O. Triebel, USNA class of 1929, commanded the Snook, SS-279. Lcdr. Triebel transferred from Snook just prior to her final patrol. //cp
